Great Lakes Sword Club116 South Main St.PO Box 222 Leslie, MI 49251 Map and Directions Great Lakes Sword Club is located in downtown Leslie, 2 minutes from US-127. This convenient location allows GLSC to serve fencers from around mid-Michigan. Currently, GLSC is host to members from Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Jackson, and Lenawee counties!!! Founded in August of 1996, the club is owned by Daniel Rahl, and offers private, semi-private, and class instruction in modern Foil, Epee, and Sabre fencing. GLSC seeks to instill the ideals of mental and physical fitness, independence, and perseverance through the sport of fencing. We offer opportunities for competition through friendly, in-house leagues, USFA sanctioned events, and open practices. The club venue is roughly 1800 square feet, with two practice strips and a teaching strip. There is a handicap accessible bathroom as well as a drinking fountain located on the main floor of the premises. Ample parking is available adjacent to the building, on Main Street and in city lots located less than a block away. The area has several restaurants and gas stations available to our patrons.
